Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your elbows and knees.
Eat a light meal at least two hours before your appointment.
Avoid alcohol on the day of your treatment.
Please refrain from wearing strong scents, including perfumes, colognes, and scented oils.
Do not brush your tongue on the day of treatment—tongue diagnosis is an important tool in Traditional Chinese Medicine. You may brush your teeth as usual, just avoid brushing your tongue.
Relax during your session—many patients feel deeply calm and rested.
After treatment, avoid stimulating activities for at least a couple of hours. It’s best to skip exercise for the rest of the day to allow your body to fully benefit.
